I'm 8 weeks pregnant today! It's my first and everything still feels a bit weird and unreal at the moment.
I've got arthritis, and had to stop taking my main meds 6 months before trying to conceive. It was a difficult 6 months, but they say that arthritis often slinks away during pregnancy in many women, so I'm hoping I'm going to be one of them! (no signs of that yet though...).
My OH was concerned that it would take a long time to conceive, but no, we managed it straight away. He was shocked to say the least! (he has 2 kids already and they took a while to come along apparently).
I think it will all become real once the appointments start, my booking in appointment is the week after next.
So pleased to have found somewhere like this! I look forward to 'meeting' you all.
