I was looking for a forum based in the UK on Google as most seem to be US based and came across you guys.

I'm 32, from West London, have a 7 year old son called Ryan and am expecting another in April and can't wait!

I'm animal mad, have a house full of them if I could but just have the one cat, Smokey, 6 fish and 2 rats, Charlie and Cinnamon, whose brother died during the week :( RIP Storm.

Anything you wanna know, feel free to ask.

Claire X

hi hun welcome to the forum and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. :D x x

Hi Babe, no I don't as I'm only 13 and a half weeks but I can't wait to find out. I did with my son too. I want a girl so bad but I guess that's selfish huh.

Thanks for the welcome Tracey, I'm so sorry to read about your loss, it's really brave of you to be posting on a forum like this so soon. *hugs smiley*

Hiya Claire and welcome to the forum

There is a 7 yr gap between my two aswell :D

Look forward to chatting

Thank you hun. Its not selfish your only thinking im sure your be happy with what ever you have girl or boys, but they do say once you think it is, it usually is (sorry confusing).

Sorry intrigued now where bouts in london are you? Im sort of south london. I love london x x

Jo, how does this age gap work? My son seems really excited but is a very attention seeking child, I'm worried about how he'll handle having another around who needs so much attention.

Tracey, I'm in Ruislip. :) I wanted a girl even before my son, his dad wanted a boy so I was happy. Ryan wants a brother, I still want a girl! I still have a few weeks yet though until we find out.

yeah i know ruislip, havent really been there before much, its a small world. x x

Yeah it is. Two of my friends and their children have not long moved to Bromley either, about an hour and a half from here.

Hiya Claire

Welcome to the forum - another April mummy yay! I feel a bit selfish as I really want a boy, will be over the moon with a girl....BUT I have always wanted a boy first.....

see you in 2nd tri

Hiya Emmylou, we could always do a swap if I have a boy and you a girl.

I have found the age gap works really well, But Emily has always been a very independant child, so not sure how Ryan will react
Also i think girls are more loving to babies and Emily is like a mini me lol

Ryan might relish the fact of being independant, you never know how kids are gonna react to anything do you?

Sorry I only just noticed this Jo. Ryan is very independant too but with doing things for himself. He is really clingy too so I am worrying a lot about it.
