Hello everyone,
I wasn't going to post on here just planned to read but have caved in and need some advice please :eh:

I found out I was pregnant on 31/3 when I went for a completely unrelated hospital appointment. My Beta HCG was very low (41) as it was very early so they referred me back to my doctor. I had another blood test 4 days later and it was up to over 600.

My doc sent me for an early scan at 5wks 1 day - while I was there I spoke to a nurse who said the HCG seemed ok but they expect at least 25 progesterone for a viable pregnancy - I saw my result and it was only 25 :|

I had my scan and there was a sac at 3mm but nothing more. Spoke to the doc and asked if I could have more bloods but she said didn't need them and booked me in for another scan on the 20th

sorry to go on but think I'm just after some reassurance from others on here - I dont feel at all pregnant, have no sickness or anything.... is it normal to feel nothing at this stage (5wks 5days) ?? has anyone else got any info re progesterone levels? and what do you do to stop yourself constantly thinking is this ok? 24/7

i hun firstly sorry u feel abit confused, right i can answer most of them as had alot myself lol

firstly dont worry about sickness, if u are likely to get it, it will come on in a couple of weeks, 20-30% o women dont get any sickness while some have it all the way through, others have it in first tri some dont get it till 2nd try so dont worry bout that at all.

2nd - bloods can only tell u so much, with my 2nd pregnanyc my hormones werent going up at all but at 6 wks i had a scan with a viable pregnanyc and was told some women just dont increase and they dont know why, unfortunately i lost it 2 weeks later.

this time round i bled at 7 wks, had a scan and sac was completely empty and only measured for a 6wk sac, then had brown bleeding for a week, went back two weeks later for follow up scan measured 8 weeks and found a viable pregnancy, now im 13 wks gone.

my nurse told me that although sometimes u can see something early on its best to wait few weeks for things to develop and they are more likely to spot something xxxxx
