hi everyone im new here! i am 9 wks 5days pregnant which came as abit of a surprise as i already have 2 boys(8+10) and wasnt planning any more. but ive got really used to the idea now and im soo excited about our new family member!
i was wondering if theres anyone in here with mobility issues whilst pregnant,as i have torn cartlidge in my knee and cant go ahead with my operation now for obvious reasons. I already limp everywhere and cant walk for long or very far,and sometimes my knee just collapses and i stumble and sometimes fall- i am very worried about this and the effects it could have in my later pregnancy.
luckily enough i have had no m/s or anything to make me belive i might be pregnant, othe than my belly growing bigger already! :cheer: im due at the end of june, yet im not gettin given a due date until my 12 week scan on the 18 dec which im really looking forward too.

hiya Blue
Congratualtions on your pregnancy!!

I am either 8 or nine weeks. sorry - I can't offer any advice on mobility but just wanted to say hi and welcome to the forum

I haven't had any ms yet, but am hungry all the time. waistbands are getting tighter by the day, but not sure if it is lo or pringles at the moment!

congrats on your pregnancy hun hope you have a great 9 months

congrats on your pregnancy...A physio is prolly going to be the best to adivse you on the best way to cope with your injury through pregnancy..have a word with your GP

hi guys thanks for your replies, getting back in touch with my phisio is a great idea, although she said there was nothing she could do to help me until after my operation, maybe theres somthing she could help with now its going to be more long term--well its worth a try,.My knee has been broke for over a year now while i was on waiting lists, and i was laid up for all the last 3 months(that was y i thought i was gettin fat not pregnant),i talked to my midwife concerning exercise and she was compleatly useless and reccomended walking  . well ive been tryin to walk more and it is feeling alot less painful than it was during the summer, but the limp is real difficult and slow and i look stupid, people stop me and ask if im ok asthough ive just had an accident, and im so slow its really annoying. Although im not overweight i have become sooooo unfit and no-one is tryin to ease my worries of when i am hevily pregs
as for food pringles are great arnt they, but i dont usually have any in the house as i will eat them all in one go :) at the moment i am really into fresh fruit and veg and cooking,i am spending most evernings in the kitchen cooking up wierd and wonderful things---so much so that the kids are gettin spun out- i am just so much craving fresh stuff and chopping things up
im so much looking forward to this baby,as i never thought id have another, and there is nothing better than my kids, but just wish i wasnt so daunted about the pregnancy, as im bound to have a fall when im all unstable and big. oh well thats enough moaning :D i have a little surprise inside :cheer:

how do i get a ticker?????i really want one

if you go to the technical support forum it explains it clearly there
