Can be burning sensation, or like a lump in the throat.
My mouth fills with saliva (MMMM!) just before an attack and I've woke myself up choking on acidy bile.
Hope I've not made you feel sick!
I NEVER had it before but it started when I was about 16 weeks and have had it constant since.
Big bottle of Gaviscon by the bed is all that's worked for me!

Hmm doesn't sound like heartburn. You feel it more in the back of your throat, you can sort of taste it. I didn't get heartburn til about a month ago.
I'd be careful taking medicines in pregnancy, most aren't recommended unless the doctors says to have it, especially in the first 12 weeks.
