Hi sweets,

I'm sorry to hear you've had a previous struggled pregnancy. I also placed myself in this predicament by always constantly wanting to hear the hb as well as movement using the doppler. It is only normal to fear and as we're carrying our babies OH's may find it harded to comprehend. You do need to relax and possibly choose three days a week where you relax and record you babies hb. If you're doing it on a regular basis and one day the hb is 145 & the following day is 160...it doesn't necessarily mean there is something wrong. Just set yourself a time/certain days, etc and you'll make it more of a routine than a ritual! All the best. Xxx

oh hun you should try not to worry! I wouldn't use doppler too often anyway - it said in the NHS book (I think... or in some other book, I'm losing track now :) ), that you should only use them a couple of times a week. Try not to do it too often - if you checking it constantly, you probably make yourself worry even more!

btw, how many weeks are you?
