Heart Burn

Hello Ladies,

Please can you tell me what I can take for heart burn... I'm hoping it's not the liquid stuff as it tends to make me gag..!

i had to have a glass of milk the other night as i had no gavascon(spl) it work a bit

you can get the tablet form of gaviscon but they aren't very nice,taste a bit like chalk,but better than having heartburn!

I can sympathise - the taste of ALL heartburn remedies make me heave - so much so that I didn't touch any in my first pregnancy, even when the heartburn was horrendous in 3rd Tri, it was better than the taste.
I found that drinking milk helped - it's not great but it does help a bit, and I grab an extra pillow for when it's bad at night - that helps too.

I have got myself some of the chewy ones on standby for when it gets very bad and the milk option doesn't work...

I have tums- they taste like refreshes and they fizz in your mouth too
