Can you go to your doctor and ask for a full health check or do they not do this and you have to go private?
Reaon i'm asking is that I'm worried about a whole lot of different things that have been happening over te last couple of months so I want to get everything checked

You can get a private medical from private health companies like Bupa, but they cost about £350 - £400 and if they find anything wrong you just get referred back to your GP. If you've got specific concerns your best bet is to book an appointment with your GP and discuss everything in one go. I don't think you can get a general medical check up via the GP - although obviously if you have specific concerns I'm sure they will make the necessary checks and tests.

   thanks for that... bloody expensive! Yes I will mention everything in one visit, because the doctor always asks if she can help with anything else. so i'll read my list out :rotfl: :rotfl:

  I do that every visit heehee i actually do get my notebook out!
I always wanted to know if you could just ask for a kind of MOT hahaha

You probably already know but you can book a double appointment with your GP if you have a few different things going on. You can get a lot more done in 20 minutes and feel less rushed.

i nearly always go to the doctor with a list! they ask what can they do for me and i pull it out (yes an actual list!) and say "well, iv got a list!" and they laugh "oh no, the dreaded list!" lol but yeah i often save up a number of concerns before i go visit my GP. or i go with one *main* concern and have a few other little things to ask about too.
