Headaches

I'm 2 weeks since giving birth and for the last 3 days I've woken with a terrible headache. It goes away after tablets but comes back late afternoon. I'm currently on codeine, iron tablets and antibiotics as I had a huge hemmorage after birth and had a double blood transfusion. I've also just finished injections as a precaution against blood clots as I was bed bound in hospital for 7 days.

Do you think I should get checked out or is it normal to get headaches after birth? Xxx

I had similar circumstances surrounding my birth, and am on iron tablets a month on- I get lots of headaches, and was told it was a side effect of the iron.

Sorry, did you have an epi? Side affects are headaches. I had the injections for the blood clotting too, just thought I'd say lol xx

Side effects hun
I had a drip of stuff to stop me bleeding and iron syrup (taste bloody horrid) to get my levels back up and suffered bad headaches in the mornings.

Been okay past week now not on anything other than normal meds
