Have your children guessed you're pregnant?

I have a very chatty 3 year and because of this we haven't told her I'm pregnant yet as she will tell EVERYONE! However over the last few days she's said a few things like.......
"Mummy I've been waiting for a baby sister for ages now!"
"Mummy let's play a game and pretend you have a baby in your tummy".
This could be complete coincidence but we haven't mentioned it around her in the slightest but I wonder if she just knows?

Anyone else's children dome similar?

Lol ... Bless her that is so sweet, I wouldn't have thought that she knows anything.

My daughter is 18 & ive not told her anything either for exactly the same reason she`ll tell everyone, I`am not ready to let the cat out of the bag yet, I want to wait until after my 12 week scan X

My little one told me I had a baby in my tummy at 9 weeks and we hadn't told her. She came to the 12 week scan and loved it. She then outed us to all the staff at her nursery when she was talking about the baby in mummy's tummy that can't come out till the Christmas tree is up!

Lol ... How very sweet :-) X

Aww joeyClare that's so sweet.
I'll be around 12 weeks as my daughter turns 4. Really hoping my scan is before her birthday so we can give her a picture of the scan for her birthday x

My almost 5 year old has said the same things too, she thinks I'm poorly because the sickness has been bad most days. Nothing has been said so it's really strange

I'm really nervous about telling my 6 year old daughter. We are very close and I'm worried she will feel our bond will be threatened. I feel like I have betrayed her lol. Silly hormones. I'm sure she will love the idea after the initial shock x

I get the feeling my 5 year old won't be too happy either x

See I think my very nearly 4 year old will be thrilled haha! But she loves all things baby and has really loved helping my sister with my niece who was born in March :). I'm beyond excited to tell her. If anything I'll miss being there 100% for her, she's by little best friend and as she's got older we have lovely dates together etc, oh just typing this is making me emotional ha! Silly hormones x

When we've asked her in the past what she thinks about a brother or sister she says she's rather have a cat haha x

I dont think that it really matters what age they are, I think its a natural feeling to feel threatened, My daughter was 17 when i told her i was pregnant & she took the news really very badly i think it was the shock of it for her X
