Has anyone got their baby names already picked out?

these have been two of my fave names for years but there is no way my OH would even consider them:

girl: Summer
Boy: Sonny

I have been writing baby names in the notes of my diary when I think, hear or see one I like. Haven't actually chosen any Favs yet but thought it would be nice to look back once I am pregnant to see if we both like any of them. Gives us something to look forward to. I have been doing it since before we were trying to concieve and before we got married last year xx

I've got my boy name picked out, i think it's a definate

I have a few girls names on the go but nothing really standing out yet - oh well i tell a lie, i just remembered that i really like the name Bridget but i'm not keen on initials being BB and i really like the name Madeline but not sure with after the one that went missing that isn't a bit tainted.

Id never thought about it before but actually Daisy is a lovely name i think I may just pop it on to my girls name list lol (cant think why i didnt think of this before ha ha)

I like Poppy but OH doesn't like it. I'm 100% sure my baby (if it's a girl) will be named Grace. Maybe Grace Ava... Not sure about the middle name yet! x x

If its a boy it will have my oh name as a middle name so Harry Michael, if I have another boy (unlikely!) it will probably be jack or James David after oh's dad.

For girls Emma Lorraine and for a second girl the middle name will be Lindsey after my sister!

So pretty organised on middle names too xx

Well, my hubby's family have a bit of a "tradition" where instead of giving the babies a double-barrelled surname - they give them their mothers maiden name as a middle name.

The mother takes the fathers name when they get married btw - they don't have a double barrelled surname either.

It only applies to the boys too.

The thing is, that my maiden name is a girls name... so my son would have a girls name for a middle name

well my OH name is graham, his grandad was called graham and coincidentally my own dad is also calle graham! so we have a definite middle name there! xxxx

just realised I forgot to say Lorraine was my mums name, so if I have a girl they will have a reminder of the grandma they will never get to meet in person but will be shown pics and told how much she would have loved to meet them just never got the chance xxx
