Hello,

I've seen a few Bugaboo bees of late and I really want one [stomps foot in a spoilt manner] It all started when I saw someone with a pimped up one with a lovely hood and matching footmuff.

I've heard quite a few people talk about how small these are. How small are we talking? Rudy is a big boy so I don't want to buy one and him not have much space. If I did get one to what age would it last realistically?

Thanks in advance,

xxx

I had my heart set on the Bugaboo Bee and heard all the reports about it being small and just thought I'd get one for up to two years then get a buggy. We went to see it and it really is tiny in size and in room for the baby. (Narrow) Babies should fit in it fine up to about 18 months (that's what the shop assistant said) not the four years as stated! :?

My hubby is 6ft3 so when he pushed it it looked like he was pushing a toy pram!

My OH is 6ft 2 so that may be a problem. We've got the Cameleon at the moment as it is great but just big and not very quick to put up etc and it takes up all the boot space and we have VW golf so not a small car. I think I may try a second hand Frog.

hi - i dont have the bugaboo bee but i have read plenty of reviews and seen people in the streets with them, i feel that they look like a fantastic pram, on a couple of sites there are pictures of average looking size wise 2.5 yo that fit in fine.

i'm certainly going to get one any way. one site also said that the sides can be adjusted to wider for winter coats etc. it also does have a tall handle 108cm me thinks :)

Hi!

I have the Bee and I have to say I looove it!
I have to say it's not the best of buggies if you need to use it a lot on uneven surfaces (bebbles etc),but its perfect in London! I have used a it a couple of times on the bus,and being tiny is definately a positive thing, as it is in shops etc.
It is quite narrow, especially in the winter with all the extra clothes, but length wise you can extend it. It def wont last until 4 yrs,but hopefully 2.
And yeah, the handle can be pulled quite high. Also it goes into really small space for storage.

:D

We're going on holiday to the sun and then there will be all summer so I want a really good sun cover and if that means getting a new pushchair then that is what I will do. I looked at the bee in John Lewis yesterday because I know it has a great sun cover and it was tiny! DD is nearly 9 months and she would have been up against the sides if I put her in the fleece suit she was wearing.

I've got the Gecko, it's smaller then the cameleon, but has all the same features (but no bumper bar). It has been discontinued now (hence we got it 20% cheaper :cheer: ), but parts will be available until 2011

I was looking at the gecko too, I like them a lot. But the main reason for going for the bee is that we could just have the one pushchair that is one piece.

I'm now having doubts after seeing the paul frank footmuffs for the gecko and cameleon, they are lovely!

P.S Your signature made me laugh out loud!
