Hi ladies! I know that extra hair can come with pcos, but has anyone ever had hair loss? Every morning when I dry and brush my hair I find loads of strands in my lap afterwards and my husband had to unclog the shower the other day as it was really blocked  Not even like I have long hair either, I have a layered bob!

xx

Yep!! Mine does it falls out constantly :(. Then i always have hair on my.face urgh xxx

Mine falls out too.

I did lose a huge amount (and I only have fine thin hair) but have found I lose a lot less since I have been taking a few supplements. I take inositol, saw palmetto, manganese, chromium, green tea extract, cinnamon and milk thistle. That is a bit of a list haha. Since I've been taking this combination (18 months now) I have found I'm losing less hair, hair where I don't want it is growing slower and I sleep better. I'm also less moody and generally calmer.

Yep! Luckily, I've got long, thick hair so it's not noticeable on my head but huge clumps come out when I brush/wash. I hate it. My friend who also has PCOS has very fine hair and she has noticeable patches missing poor thing x

Oooh snowbee I may have to try those. Where did you get them all from? Do you take everyday? Cx

I always have loads in my hairbrush, clogging shower and in the dyson! I have long, thick hair that doesn't appear to be thinning at all, so god knows what it would be like if it wasn't moulting constantly!!

My hair is really thick and I leave a trail of fallen hairs wherever I go! Drives Mark mad!

Yay Dyson lol. My hair is always falling out too but I don't have pcos. Di you think those supliments would help me too? I've been using treseme and fibrology that seems to help but seriously my hair is everywhere!

Yes, it isn't as complicated as it sounds as several of them are combined.

Tri Sense is once a day (has the D3, Manganese, Chromium, Green Tea and Cinnamon in it).

Milk Thistle & Saw Palmetto is also combined, I take 2 a day, one morning one eve. This is the one that is specific for hair loss.

Inositol I also take twice a day but you can take the dose as once but I prefer to split it.

They are insanely expensive (mine costs £700 a year) but does seem to work and I'm really wary about buying supplements online as there is no guarantee what is in it. I would love to try metformin on prescription as then I could cut back on the inositol which is the most expensive, the others are more reasonably priced.

Aw I hope they give you metformin snowbee!
I really want it lol! Xx
