I had mine out about 5 weeks ago ish maybe slighty longer, and nope I wouldnt say its a placebo that feeling, Within a couple days I was bouncing and feeling so much happier as for mood swings, only get one every so often now were as before it was almost every hour! lol

I had a friend who had it put in a week after her baby was born, but removed within a couple months coz the side effects were horrendus

i had it put in 3 weeks after having the baby, thought seeing as pregnancy hormones agreed so well with me, a progesterone implant would be ideal.......but nooooooo! my sex drive completely disappeard , didnt even want to cuddle, felt shut within myself, crying all the time.....hopefully it has been due to the implant, its hard to give a single cause when there are a thousand possible factors involved, but i do feel like the underlying upset-ness has been lifted
