She was really lovely, just filled out loads of forms and took tonnes of blood. My OH had to leave the room when they took my blood, he felt so faint. 
God help me if we actually get to the point of giving birth! He'll be beyond useless!!
I also have been told my 12 week nuchal scan is now next Thursday (when i;ll only be 11 and half weeks) but hopefully this should be just right for the nuchal. They really frighten you with the stats of having a Downs baby, don't they! I was told my chance at this stage is 1:350 or something, just cos i'm 35! Sometimes you forget how old you our in the eyes of the NHS...
Also, have an appointment with hospital doc on Monday to discuss my previous history of cone biopsies for cancerous cells. So worried my cervix will be shite, and not able to carry the weight of a baby. Just want to know more, so great they've booked me in so soon.
Reading people's other messages makes me realise just what a lottery this whole baby care is in this country. Mine has been great so far, but i know other women seem to have a much harder time. Seems weird for something so fundamental and basic!
Anyway, rant over. I'm going to make some nice tea now (lamb chops with mint, yum!) Felt really sick again today. So bored of feeling nauseas, but kind of comforted by the fact i feel rough and cried today when i heard the Beach Boys on the radio singing 'God Only Knows'. I'm a blubbing wreck!!!
