I had my 34 week growth scan today and he is measuring 37 weeks!!! I'm still having to be induced at 38 weeks due to the itching I've been having, but I'm much less worried now that he is a decent size.

The consultant also revealed today that I have had Glandular Fever for the past 3 weeks  (it showed up in my blood tests!!!)!!!!!! And that is why I have been feeling really tired/no energy (on top of the no sleep from the itching). It's also why I've had a sore throat (I thought it was from the acid coming up from my really bad heartburn I've been having). But she said that it doesn't affect the baby, just makes me feel like crappola!!!

The consultant has aslo referred me to a skin specialist as my Liver Function Tests came back normal for the 3rd time. I've had 2 normal bile acid tests and am awating the results of the 3rd. Hopefully they will be able to give me something for it. I'm also still on the UDC tablets for my liver in case it is the Obstetric Choleostasis after all, but she doesn't think it is. Again, I'm happy that they are taking me seriously.

I've to go in and see the consultant next week to see how I'm progressing and to further discuss the induction (3 weeks on Monday!!!!).

That's all from me! Hope everyone else is doing fine!

I've never had glandular fever but have heard that it's really nasty and can make you feel really run down! Hopefully you'll be better soon and you'll be amazed at how different you feel!
Though at least you haven't been suffering too much with it.
