Had a scan today at 4 and a half weeks!

Well my scan was booked before we got our bfp, to see if I had PCOS as I wasn't ovulating before, so thought might aswell still go for it. Turns out I do have a 16mm cyst on one of my ovaries but when they did the internal scan they could see my ickle dot! What a cute blob, the lady was so nice she even printed us off a picture even though there's not a lot to see. She said she couldn't detect a heartbeat or see a feral pole as really it's just a gestation sac this early on but she's booked me another scan in two weeks time so I can see the heartbeat (she really was the most helpful lovely lady) I feel so lucky that I'm going to get to see my bean again in a fortnight as I know most people don't get a scan till 12 weeks. So off to docs in the morning for my first appointment since finding out were up the spout so really excited. Just thought I'd share with you all. ( please can I have some sticky dust for baby lol)

Hiya hun, I have pcos. Can be a Lil painful but nothing parocetomol can't handle.
Take pregnacare n relax. I went to the early pregnancy unit at 6 weeks + days just to see fetal heart beat.
You should be able to walk in at your hospital.

I have pcos and i had 17mm cyst but that cyst is what gets your baby going. That will go on its own. She said to me thats all part of the pregnancy the cyst. So dont worry about having a cyst. Gave you your bfp xxxx

Hiya, so nice u got to see the baby. i also had a 25mm cyst on one of my ovaries when i was pregnant with my son, it was monitored throughout the pregnancy as they thought baby could have affected it or it affect the baby.
It was fine throughout the pregnancy and they removed the cyst and my ovary when i had my son by c-section. I am now pregnant with my second baby so dont let it worry u! sticky dust 4 u x
