I had my growth scan yesterday, and the baby large all round, but the abdominal circumference was at the very top of the graph (the lady measured it 3 times just to be sure)

Is this anything to worry about - can it be an indicator of anything being wrong? I think they would have said if it did mean anything, but I can't help worrying as it seems so much bigger in realtion to everything else.

I really don't know tbh. My little one had a fatter tummy than the rest of him too. However, I am sure if there was anything to worry about the sonographer would have either told you or asked a consultant to speak to you. Try not to worry too much

if the baby is still in the lines weather on the top one or bottom its ok as that is a range of average in there gestational age group. its when they go over that line by a bit then thats wen things would be done to sort things out... sometimes your baby can grow very fast at some point and go over and you will get another scan a few weeks after to make sure it was just the rate baby was growing an not that the baby is extra large it happened to me but turned out tameron just grown a bit fast an had a big growth spurt. i went back for my second growth scan and he was still a bit big but within the lines. if they havent asked you back for another scan or an appt. with a doctor then everything seems fine hun.. :) and dont worry big babys are so cute hehe. hope that helped a bit
