Growth scan *update, thanks all* and a little suprise

[Little Bump]

Thankyou everyone for helping to put my mind at ease a little on monday.

I went to see the consultant and be scanned this morning as baby was only measuring 28 weeks fundal height.

We went to see the specialist first, and he measured me at 27 weeks

So off we went for our scan and baby's absolutely fine.

I'm 31 weeks and 3 days and baby is measuring 31 weeks 1 day.

And, our little suprise.....

OH casually said 'Just check and make sure his winkie hasn't dropped off...'

AND IT HAS

Well, it obviously wasn't there to begin with, but talk about a shock! Our little boy is actually a little girl

I'm not sure what happened at an earlier scan, but there goes...there was a definate hoo-hoo there and not a winkie.

Soooo...she'll have lots of blue suits and cardigans

Ooooh what a surprise!! We got a double check at our 3d scan so really hoping that the dangly bits we saw were real!

I always have said though at least blue on a girl is better than pink on a boy!

what a suprise, well I suppose they only say they are able to give you an 80% guess! She will look lovely in blue,, pinks over rated anyhoo! Although I have had her checked several times (getting scanned lots) I still think I may have a boy dressed in a tutu in a few months!!!

I was told I'm having a girl at my 20 week scan, you've got me worried now that I'm going to be putting a little boy in some pretty pink dresses... and calling him Millie for that matter!

That happened to me Lil miss had a winkie and balls pointed out to me at my 19 week scan... a month later they'd dropped off lil miss has a blue room, pushchair car seat and boy clothes... but I'm making up in pink now.... pinks the best anyways
