ground nut oil

went to my aunty's house the other day and she made these stuffed aubergines that i usually love, but nearly had a fit when i went to have some. she said i couldnt because its got ground nut or ground nut oil init (cant remember but one of the 2) was wondering if anyone knows if this is true? she also told me i couldnt go visit my dads grave cos im pregnant too, but went for his funeral obv at 3 months preg and am fine and still go visit him x

The grave thing is a silly old wives tale (and damn hurtful!) if you want to visit your dad, go!
Re the ground nut oil I think it's ok, the peanut thing is only if you have a history of allergies then they advise to avoid.

yeah i know. even my mum started laughing at her when she said about the grave thing. thanx for clearing that up. i even checked the book and it said nothing about ground nut oil x
