Gross question!!!!!!!

Has anyone else had loads of creamy cm in tri 3?? Had quite a bit in t1 but it disappeared after a few weeks. Seems to be back with a vengence at the mo!!! Is this normal??

TMI INFO Just make sure it's not yellow, bloody or smells foul. Sorry...

Means your body is doing its job, I get it off and on sometimes its the protect from getting infection etc...

Seriously, mine is actually yellow though. It has been for the last month or two... No infections have come out at my appointments though?! xx

is it consistantly yellow?? I know wee wee during pregnancy can be quite bright, also pregnacare etc/vits can make wee wee really bright but is it like proper yellow like when you wipe...

Also has this only happened recently cause urs might be the start of ur plug as oposed to regular CM discharge...

I've had lots of thick CM this week, so yes, I think it's quite normal

Danni - Dunno if this would console you or not but mine started to go yellowy at around 31 weeks and it came about that i had thrush. Was a bit of a shock as i didn't have any of the symptoms of thrush.

In the past week it's gone a funny colour again, yellowy brown, and when i mentioned it to the MW she said it's another plug going and not to worry.

Dannii mine is the same as yours..I even mentioned it to MW because I have worn pantyliners every day since the day I got pregnant. Just got into a habit and this is when I noted against the white pantyliner that I do have yellowish CM. It is apparently very very normal. As long as it does not have tinge of red or too much all of a sudden then you are ok but it is quite normal I believe. Besides, urine infection would have picked up anything abnormal in your routine urine sample checks at MW.

Mildly I believe brownish is also normal. Apparently the best way to describe it is that our bodies are cleaning our cervix more than normal. We have more production of mucus from all our mucus glands including nostrils (well I do haha). So the CM being coloured or slightly tinted is also very normal....

I agree on yellow can be part of a preg. Mine has been since i got preg and i was checked for infections(because this was not normal for me) and all came back normal didnt even have thrush. I asked could it be wrong because i was still getting it and the Doctor said nope there is nothing there it must be apart of this pregnancy.

Not at all! It's best you say something though, definitely. I have read it up and says yellowish discharge should always be checked just in case - So even if it's nothing to worry about, it's always worth getting it checked because it's a rarer form of discharge and can be a sign of infection xx
