Sussed it today (~at least I think so.... oh god - i bet i have him in wrong!!!)

Front hold in morrisons - he was really sleepy so i thought he would prefer this - but then he wanted to look around so was pushing himself away from me all the time

Back hold - i think I have it - although it did feel like he was leaning back a bit so I was hunched over - need to suss that BUT i got in him safe and sound - didn't drop him
Can't get him out though.... someone tell me how I do that! DH had to grap him or he would have gone splat

Ooh I did the back one different I had tiny's legs round me. I'll have a look at Maria's site and see how to do it that way

We need to try the hip carry too

what might help with the back carry is if you jiggle him into the seat a bit more, his knees should be higher then his bum and he will be be deeper in it and feel more secure. To get Cally round I shuffler her round to my hip and get her that way

ETA - I can't find a pic of a back carry in my MT but here is one in a wrap showing how the legs should go - hope this helps

Thanks I jiggled a bit but he wasn't for having it I need to perfect them all. The hip carry looks fab!

ooo thankyou - will try that! He didn't *feel* right (hence why we we only in the front room with that carry ) will keep practising!!

How on earth do you get Cally in the wrap on your back? I have a wrap too but he whines being on my front so I think back carry is the way to go but I can't work it out

Practice - though I tend to only back carry in my wrap when I walk from home. It takes me a while to get it right so if I am out in the car popping into the shop I prefer my MT.
