Ive recently changed my boys milk to cow and gate comfort and he does seem to be doing much better on it. Only problem is he's HUNGRY! I no on average a 2month old should take 6oz every 3ish hrs. Well within 12hrs he's had two feeds of 11oz as well as his 6oz feeds inbetween!

I do believe in giving them what they want at this age and he was so tired but not settling coz he was trying to swallow his fist! He always does this when hes hungry (not a sign of needing comfort, he usually rubs his eyes, screams for his dummy or sticks his bottom lip out when he needs a cuddle). He had the extra milk and fell asleep.

Do you think im giving him too much? I dont wanna make him ill? I wish i could put him on the next stage but the 2nd comfort milk isnt allowed till they're 6months. Or should i jst give him more if he wants it? He's only 2months now so how much is he guna be taking by the time he's just under 4months!!! aaahh! Bring on him being 4months so i can get him on baby rice!!! :rotfl:

He sounds completely normal for a little person of his age, just keep the demnad feeding up, he will only take what he wants and you wont make him sick :D

Its rediculous he went from only waking up in the night once to waking up every 4 hours last night and each time i had to give him around 110z before he settled and stopped chewing his hand off!!

Do you think i should try and put him on the cow & gate No2? I swapped to the comfort milk and he has been better, less colicey so if i sawp his milk again after a week will the colic get worse again or will it give him a bad tummy changing milk again? :wall:

Oh yeh and i did ask the health visitor and all she could say was "yes he's definately a hungry baby, some babies just are" and i was like well yeh thanks for that wonderful helpful insight but pardon me you dont f***king have to put up with him screaming his balls off at 9pm, 1am and 4am and then have to put up with your mother-in-law the next day

I would defintely give it a try as he having a enormous amouhnt of milk, I noticed a big change in feeding habits when i swapped onto hungry baby, she just calmed instantly.

Imogen was no more colicy on the new milk, though babies are all differnt! I hope you have some joy soon as you sound knackered and in need of sleep.
