Got to go to the day unit

Hi ya
Just had my 36 week midwife appointment and my blood pressure has gone up to 130/106!!!No protein or PE symptoms though! But because i had hypertension with Rhys Ive got to go in to be assessed at 3. I am soo worried.

thank you. Last time it went up like that I was 41 weeks and they induce me. I m just worried about whatll happen whether I go on tablets or would they keep me in. Anyway the midwife has instructed hubby to take me out for a nice lunch!!

Gosh, that is high! but im sure everything will be fine. they probs just strap u on the trace and monitor babys HB and movements! hope all goes well. try not to worry

They let me home!!!
Blood pressure still ranged from 160/94,then over 97 , then babck to 94. Ive got to be monitored twice weekly for BP.BUT they also found the baby has an etopic beat(missed heartbeat) which happened a couple of weeks ago too but has been fine since .
Anyway I am glad to be home and I just have to ring up for my blood results in the morning. Thank youi soo much for your messages. you guys are brill!!

Glad they have a plan in place. Don't forget to ring them tomorrow and let us know what they say.

they rang me earlier and said my blood was clear thank goodness- just that my iron levels are very low. But my midwife had told me that earlier. I've gotto make an appointment on monday to see my gp for a check up. So they will check my BP and babys heart twice a week from now on. I just cant wait for baby to be here now so I can see that they are ok!!

I have protein sticks to test at home which I got from the docs, and also now invested in a BP monitor which I got for £9.99 in Lloyds Chemist - having those is such piece of mind to keep an eye on things as an when I like rather than waiting for each appointment. Not sure if that helps you at all, but the worrying probably didn't do my BP much good so it's working for me!
