Got my scan today!!! **UPDATED**

And I am so nervous!!!

I just want to know everything is ok rather than how far I am gone and seeing as there are so many twins in both families, to check how many are in there

As long as there is a heartbeat I know I will feel so much better and calmer about everything.

Will let you know how I get on girlies

Purely because it is cheaper than anywhere I can find in Sussex and they could do it within a few days unlike anyone in Sussex!!!

Well, I had it and there it was, my bean, beating away!!!

But the midwife there put me back week so now I have 3 dates She put me at 6 weeks 5 days and now I feel a little bit disappointed as I thought I was a week more and in my head I had nearly reached the 8 week mark. I am seeing each new week as a milestone and now I have to go back.

Anyway, I saw my little bean's heartbeat and heard it and I am going back in 2 weeks for a free scan to just check.

I also have a cyst on my left ovary but she said that was perfectly normal?

Aw that's brilliant congratulations I bet you feel so much more relieved. Don't worry too much about the dating you will get a definite dating scan at 12 weeks but in the grant scheme of things your baby could come a week early anyway.

I know but the date she gave me yesterday just didn't add up or make any sense at all Working from the first day of my last AF it makes me nearly 8 weeks.

Sorry your scan went back hun it always sucks when you think your further and they tell you different, i know they say that going by the first day of your last af is just an estimate if your not charting and dont know when you ovulated. All so confusing really , hopefully your next scan will clear things up.

Glad your scan went well. I had two date with Ellis, doctors said 15th July and I thought it was 21st.

He came on the 13th!!! hehe so you never know when they are ready to pop! xxxxx
