Googling baby names

Have you ever googled your baby name choices to see if there are any others out there?

I googled "[Removed personal information]" and got a few hits, mainly in America. No mass murderers or anything though

Every time we come up with another choice I always do a search to see whO ELSE THERE IS ALREADY WITH THAT NAME (sorry DS wanted caps )

Am I the only one who does this?!?

Yes i have done this too! in fact, i took it one step further and put the name into facebook! There were three girls on facebook with the name I am thinking of so i emailed them to see if they like their name! 2 must have thought that i was a mad woman and did not reply but one girl did reply and said that she loves her name!

there was a site you can put in a name and see how many people in the UK have that name, i think it was linked from the electorall roll. But i cant remember the name of the site (was a few years ago)
