what age are these from?
they were 4 pots for 99p in asda i got some for Harley they were in the baby food section, he gagged on it, i tryed it and its so strong it made my eyes water.
its the Apple and berries flavour. so i looked to see what age they are for and they dont say apart from "great for lunch boxes"
should he be having them straight from the pot?
or am i supposed to mix it with his porrage or something?

i was hoping to just take the pot out with me when im out for the day?

i got the jelly ones for Adele :puke: tasted like water she wouldnt eat them but they were £1.79 for 4 here :? i couldnt find the yoghurt ones :( but bothcolby and adele love petit felous (sp?)

He can have them out of the pot, I don't really give them to Brody that way though, I mix them with his cereal or with plain yoghurt. They would taste quite strong if he's only been having quite bland stuff so far

Petit filous you can have from an early age too.

i think they are from 4 months hun - they are quite strong as they are 100% fruit.

to start with i used to mix half of one into alex's rice then gradually reduced the rice and increased the fruit pot till i had cut the rice totally.

i think they are great, loads of flavours to choose from and alex still loves them now! (they also do one with little lumps to get them used to chewing)

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

i get Dior lil yougots from asda they are in tiny yellow red and pink pots some times have animals on????
are they Petit filous ?
and can 4months + have them?

I used to buy the Cow and gate Frutapura (used to be truly fruits) for Reece. They were gorgeous, I used to love the apple and banana flavour...Yummy!!!

they are quite expensive so that put me off buying them, the petits filous are great and also the yoplait ones too.

dionne the asda ones are just the same as the petit filous only with a differnt name, i started giving colby one at lunch time when she was 4.5 months and she loves them, and it helps he poops (shes been getting constipated because she wont take any juice or water) idid mush some banana into it to make it slightly lumpy but she prefers just mushed banana and a petit filou after it :D

I was going to say that. Jamie loves these.

I also give Jamie mashed banana or cooked apple (he had that with custard the other day, never seen anything disappear so fast!)

Cooked apple and banana? sounds nice
how did you cook the apple? and was it normal custard?

I used normal Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored and chop them up, put them into a saucepan with a little water & let it slowly cook until soft. It takes about 10-15mins i think. Once cooked I use my hand blender to mush it up.
For the custard I use Birds powder and mix it with some of his formula, put it in the microwave for a few mins. I just judge when its cooked by the consistency, not thick but not too runny. When it bubbles up in the microwave it should be ready. You can alwasy mix more milk with it if its too thick but you can't really add powder if its too runny as it will just go lumpy.

Hope you understand this!!!

I've just given J some mashed banana with a Heinz orange & nectarine pot puree thing, the noise coming from him fornominal!!! yum yum yum yum :rotfl:

Damien LOVES these fruit pots. Petit filous gave his the runs when he was 4 months, again at 5 months and I've not rried again sine as he seems happy on fruit pots. He loves them on their own too, but he is a bit older.
On the side of some of them they say stage 1, the apple and bana ones I think they are and another one, some are stage 2 (with little lumps in) and others don't say which are the more mixed fruit and stronger ones, which Damien will take now too. I'd stick to 'stage one' for Harley.

HTH xx

Aimee loves the goodies pots but I think some of them are 4+ months and some are for kiddies (not sure why)
even now she still squints a bit at some of them so i'd def mix with baby rice or something
