Well, I had a chat with my colleague at work about what the midwife said to me yesterday re: heart palpitations and periody type pains.
We both went to have a word with my boss today, and I explained the health worries and asked to finish a week early. My boss was fine and has agreed to me finishing work a week early, so now I've got just over 3 weeks!!
I also have an appointment with a consultant about the palpitations on the 24th Sept, so hopefully we can get something sorted with that.
Feeling much better about things now and it has taken a weight off my mind that I'm finishing a week earlier. I think it was the best option given the fact that I'm doing 2 people's jobs at the mo, until my other colleague gets back from her hols next Friday!
