Good and bad

the good news is.... I've finished work now until next year Wohooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

The bad news is (and I said to OH the other day this would happen) I am coming down with something... OH has had the flu and now I feel feverish and sneezy and my throat is killing me Its always the way when you get some time off work and begin to relax. I hope LO is gonna be ok

Thank you girls. i feel worse look at the time 5.18. i cant sleep when i feel like this. had a banana for tea last night because there was nothing else in the house i really fancied (ran out of milk so weetabix out of the question ) and now im starving. I might see if i can get to docs today as this is starting to feel like a chest infection rather than a cold or the flu. sorry for whining, i just feel really crappy

im gonna go back to bed and read and see if i can fall back to sleep. thank god OH is sleeping on the settee at the mo so im not keeping him up too.

Boo!! on the feeling ill side, there seems to be a lot of that going around just now, another friend emailed yesterday saying she was feeling like she had a cold and sore throat etc...hope your better soon, rest!!

Im laughing because im actually sitting here in my pj's.

I phoned the mw today and she said LO will be fine which is a relief. Im still gonna get a docs appointment.

We went to the garage and stocked up on supplies. OH is still poorly, we must have looked loke a right pair. scenes from shaun of the dead spring to mind

Thanks for all your nice words and hugs. Im going to the docs tomorrow morning. I feel as bad as i did when i had bronchitus a few years ago so im hoping the doc gives me some antibiotics.

Its my own fault, i was taking the mickey out of OH when he was ill saying he had man-flu... its his revenge

Hving a cold or any illness when pregnant always feels and is so much worse then what ot would normally be because when pregnant our bodies protect the babys were carrying! How are they meant to get a cold - come on we need our immune systems back!

lol, no matter how sh*t im feeling i want my bod to do all it can to protect LO. Im about to go to docs to we'll see what she says. LO had me worried as I'd hardly felt any movements in the last 12 or so hours (sleep not brilliant) but i think it was just slow to start this morning as Ive now had a few kicks, not as many as i normally would but enough to stop me worrying. Im mentioning it to the doc anyway.

Same here and i woke upo with a bunged up nose as well this morning and feel like shit, spoke to the MW and she said if im feeling sluggish and slow, the baby wont feel any of it as they are fully protected, which was good news!

I have been to docs and i have bronchitus he perscribed me some antibiotics so hopefully i'll fell better in a day or so

he had a feel and checked LO's heartbeat and said all is fine. he said its more than likely LO is moving as normal but because im under the weather Im just not noticing it.
