erm i know this sounds weird but..here goes:

my stitches are all healed up but i still feel like a donkey hoofed me down there...did anyone else feel as though things were in the wrong place after birth??
i feel as though stuff has moved down there..i cant explain this properly and i know it sounds odd but i feel as though things are different like lower down or something! i want my old bits back! they were comfy and this is not!

does anyone know what i mean? or am i just going mad?

i know what you mean.
Are you doing your pelvic floor ecercises? Start doing them really religiously everyday. You can do them while you're waiting at traffic lights or something. I used to do mine before i got out of bed and when i went to bed too.
Its worth doing them and you'll astart feeling normal again soon. Remember bubbas only three weeks old and you need 6 weeks to fully recover from the damage done to your delicate bits. I would say you don't recover completely from birth for a year or so.

I felt odd down below for a good 4 months, guess it takes so long for things to heal right again. I know that my clit area felt like it had been battered with a baseball bat for weeks (standing up after sitting for a while was such a challenge!).

Things will get easier, but it just takes time. I thought that I'd feel better after a couple of weeks. Now I know differently

yes kina thats exactly what it feels like..lol
thanks girls at least i know its normal..i keep forgetting its only been just over 3 weeks..i feel like i've been a mummy forever!

so it should start improving (i should do more pelvic floor exercises)
it just feels like effort! lol

ta very much..glad i'm not going mad :)

Mine was exactly the same & it took about 3 months for it to feel normalish again. Things still aren't right down there & it feels like i've been kicked in the belly sometimes & feels really tender esp. at the time of the month.

Give yourself a good 6 months (so my doc said at my then 8 week check up) but take it easy in the mean time, your bodies been through alot.
