gone arse over tit!!!

Well, i knew i was getting more clumsy but ive just been crying like a child as ive just gone and fell over-I landed on my side in the mud and my hand is full of gravel! I feel like a 3 yr old whose just fallen in the playground!
Feeling very embarrased now and my side is sore, babys moving about well so i think ive just woken him/her up!
Can a fall or shock get things started i am a bit worried as a friend of mine had a knock at about this stage and the next day went into labour. Think iam going to hide under duvet for rest of pregnancy- it seems safer!

Yeh, it was outside, i was letting my dogs out of their kennels and lost my footing on the step, i tried to put my hand out to save me and ended up in the mud!
Iam assuming bubs will be well protected in there, poor things probably got a headache as the heads engaged but i fell on my hip so hope it didnt knock lo about too much!

Feeling ok now, think it scared me a bit, was trying so hard no to fall on my front! So much for mans best friend though- bloody dogs were too interested in the box of doggie treats i threw across the ground as i fell!
Hope everyone is doing well though- Must make mental note- balance not what it used to be!!!!

Aww hun just read your post, sounds really scary I know I would have been sobbing as well!!!
Glad to hear your doing okay now though, fingers crossed your fall hasn't triggered anything , I'm sure if it has we'll hear about it.
Yes I think it best you just camp out in your bed for the rest of the pregnancy - not long now!!! Yikeees!!!!

Hope you are feeling okay - i was born 5 weeks premature because my mom had a fall.......but you are far enough that baby would be ready to come anyway hun.....I hope you are over the shock of it

Hope everything is ok, take it easy. Why not phone the midwife in the morning and see if they want to check you out.

Thanks, think i will see how i feel in morning and give mw a bell just to make sure. Feeling bit better now- babys going mad-most active its been in weeks-probably thinking it would be safer to come out if iam throwing myself around. If things start moving though will keep you all updated!
