My mummy and daddy are taking me to the pram centre in Glasgow to play with them!!
Soooo excited. Not really intending to buy it there, but I'm hoping I finally manage to decide what I'd like. Keep changing my mind at the moment.

Wish me luck.

Xxx

Good luck! We put the deposit down on ours yesterday :)! Xx

It's amazing the number of different ones available. I knew I wanted a travel system that the car seat clips onto easily and I wanted a carry cot so LO can lie down in early months, but until I started looking, trying them out and talking to people in the shops I didn't know things like only certain carry cots are suitable for overnight sleeping (which we'll use when we go to visit family and friends), so we've now ordered the Mamas and Papas Zoom. It's more expensive than I think either of us initially intended to spend, but I think it will be worth it. Have fun!

Good luck!!

The pram centre is literally 3 mins walk from my house!

Hope you leave Glasgow with some ideas!

:)

Ooh we went there a few weeks ago. There is loads of choice. If you find the pram you want somewhere else for a better price, tell them as they see if they can match it.

We went for the Quinny Buzz 3 but didn't get it from there as I found a better deal at Babies R Us and they wouldn't offer me the colour we wanted.

Let us know how you get on. It's like pram heaven.

Well - i think i have decided on the sliver cross sleepover - just need to clear it with OH - and track down where it's cheapest.

Wasn't hugely impressed by the service in the pram centre - The pram mart in govan was a LOT better - the woman spent ages explaining the ones i wanted to see - it musta taken her ages to put them all back together after we left. lol

Can't say I was impressed with the service now you mention it.

I went to Babies R Us in Govan as OH works near there and saw pram mart.

Have a google hun, you're bound to find a good deal :)

Glad you found the one you wanted.X

I've always found the pram centre more expensive than other shops like babies r us.

I think they have a website you can order from too.

I spent days & days looking thro websites for our buggy, thought babies r us & kiddiecare had the best range & best prices.

:)

Thats lovely

I love dark coloured prams, ours is jet black with bits of grey on the seat bit.

Silver Crosses are quite hard to come by! I'd just google the brand & go through the different websites, save the good websites on your favourites & look out for offers like free delivery/free accessories ect.

:)

Just bought m&p sola in black, should arrive within the next week. I did a lot of research, wanted something not bulky that would last from birth to childhood. This one was number 2 on the which best buy list (number 1 cost £600 - uppababy vista). I'm in love. It lays flat so beautifully that theres no way I'm forking out for the carrycot and wasting the space. nearly choked when I saw the price of the footmuff (£52!!), but it's soooo cozy I had to have it. I really like the zoom too though!

This is the one I'm leaning towards - but so far ive not really found many options for ordering it from. Think i'll have to get DH on the case. Most places seem to sell the parm and the chassis as seperate bits - and even then not a lot of websites seem to do silver cross

This is the one Im going for but with the classic chassis which is a bit more robust as it needs to be able to go round agricultural shows and cope well lol! Ive also got the added car seat as well just for extra ease.

Did they tell you that the stand and covers are also included in that price at the minute till the end of october? It means that the top cot part can go on a stand and convert into a moses basket. Its what I was told by the woman in the shop we went into.

OOOo where getting the sola too lol. But we are getting the carrycot aswell. The whole thing is just so lovely, I can wait to get it :).
xx

We've got the sola in black too with the carrycot, love it!

The Silver Cross looks lovely! xxx

yeah hunnie - im quite impressed by the moses basket bit, they didnt say that the offer was only till end of october though - maybe better get a move on. That really appeals to me - cos my bedrooms not very big - no chance of a cot in it - so we're thinking of a crib thats a bit bigger than a moses basket - but the parm converted will be handy for downstairs.

I've just put a deposit down on the pram so it's atleast ordered. I didn't actually think I would ever use the stand but it's actually sounding a really good idea and I think ill most likely use it when we go away :) xx

I need to show DH it - not that he has a huge opinion on the pram anyways. and my folks are paying for it - so will get them organised. xxx
