Going in hospital tomorrow - updated - home again

At my GP AN check up he was concerned because I had +1 protein in my urine and my BP was slightly up. He asked when I was next due at the hospital and was really surprised when I said 2 weeks! He thought I should be induced sooner as there's a risk of pre-eclampsia like with my first.

So last night I had to go to the Maternity Assessment Unit. They did all the usual ob's and monitored the baby (who was very active). Apparently I was having mild contractions! Although I didn't know.

Anyway, the blood tests they did showed a little problem apparently so I've got to go back tomorrow at 11am for another load of monitoring and blood tests. If the tests show the same results I could be in to be induced. Although of course they might send me home and tell me to come back in a few days to be induced.

I'll try to post tomorrow with an update if I'm allowed home. If not then you might safely assume I'm staying in the maternity unit!
