Glucose in urine

Hi

Has anyone had glucose in their urine at a midwife appt?

I'm 34+5 and my midwife just tested my urine and said I have glucose in it so she's sent it off and I have to go back next week to do anther urine sample!

I'm panicking a bit, really hope I don't have gestational diabetes!

Anyone experienced this? xxx

I had it in mine when I was 17 weeks. I'd had some fruit juice, a doughnut and cheese cob before I gave the sample so it came back high. I had to go for a GTT which I narrowly missed passing - the midwife said my results would have been fine last year but this year they've narrowed the parameters.

I'm now 31 weeks and still taking my blood 6 times a day. It's annoying but baby comes first and I don't want to risk getting it myself later in life.
