I feel awful, Ive got flu and have noticed Isla being a bit quiet this afternoon/evening... picked her up as she was whinging, and she was covered in sweat , shes all snotty and weak. just how I am. het temps not too high so Im not calling doctor just yet..
But at least I know whats going on, shes too tiny to know. I feel crap giving her my germs

What can I treat her with? I think shes too little for Calpol and such, Im gonna be awake all night worrying about her now

Aww, hun! I gave Ella my chest infection last week aswell..makes you feel awful doesn't it?

Calpol is for babies aged 2 months +, if she's got a temp of 37.5 or above then remove some of her clothes and open a window slightly to help her cool down a bit. I think you should take her to the Doctor if she's no better. I didn't go to the Docs when I was poorly because I felt better after a few days so assumed Ella would aswell. 5 days later I finally took her to the Docs and she had a chest and slight throat infection

awww its horrible i gave Blake my cold and he was only a week old, we went to the chemist and asked if there was anything we could give him and they gave us saline nose drops to be given to him just before feeds. It really works so give it ago. His cold seemed to clear up on his own but it wasnt flu though. Hope you both get better soon.

Ooo good tip emmie, thanks! Shes so snotty bless her cottons. Damn winter and its viruses!!
She seems happy with it though! She was smiling away at me dancing like an idiot when I got out the shower, so at least shes in a good mood!
