I think they are. My hairdresser uses them in his salon and won't touch anything else. Whenever he does my hair they give it an incredible finish. Ones bought in a shop really don't compare IMHO. The ones used by the professionals are far better. But they also know what they are doing, so can get the finish and style right better than we mortals

I nearly bought a pair but tbh, I'd only use them a few times a year. It would be easier to get my hair done by my hairdresser than do it myself.
