Hi my little boy has been so easy to potty/toilet train. I just stopped putting a nappy on him the other day and he has either asked me or just taken himself off to the potty when he's needed to go and he hasn't had a single accident. Do dry nights follow naturally? X

B was dry at night before he was during the day! When he was about 2 and 3 months he refused to wear a nappy to bed. So I went with it and he's never worn one to bed since!
We have had a few accidents where he's been poorly or if he's gone to bed really early say 5pm and about 4/5 in the morning not woken up in time.
I make sure he has a big wee on the toilet before bed and remind him to wake me if he needs a wee in the night which he does occasionally.
But I will say he was a nightmare to train during the day lol!
My friend just puts pulls ups on her kids and a potty in their room for when they wake.
B goes to bed naked so that helps as when he wakes he doesn't have to faff with pulling things down he can just run to the toilet.
Saves money on pyjamas as well lol x

That's great Mrs T thank you! Harry still goes to bed in a nappy but by morning it's off and he's weed in his potty. This morning he shouted me asking for toilet roll haha! Xx

Bless him! Is his nappy generally dry in the mornings? That would be a good place to start. My friends little boy is dry during the day but saves it all up for night and his nappy is usually soaked by morning and he's nearly 4.
He has a good concept of using the toilet but once he's asleep that's it no waking him!

My mum said she woke us and made us go for a 'try' to get us used to the idea & worked a treat so this is what I intend on doing when we get to that stage
