Gender guesses please :-))

Hi

I hope everyone is well today.

I had my 12 week scan last week. I've been reading up on all of the gender guess theories, like the skull and nub theory. All sound very interesting!

Just wondering if anyone would like to take a guess at the gender of my baby?! Just for fun of course!

I am going to find out the sex at my 20 week scan on 16th October so will update this thread then!!

Thanks, the baby was very cooperative! Was a little wriggler, very active!!

I'm convinced it's a boy. I'm so impatient, can't wait to find out!! Are you going to find out?

I could watch them wriggling about all day, its just amazing.

No am not going to find out. Although DH really wants to! I said he could find out if he likes and just not tell me,but he said he would let it slip somehow!
Have various reasons for not wanting to find out - I want that Hollywood moment at birth (cheesy I know lol), if I know the sex I will spend a fortune on baby clothes for team pink/blue and also I heard and read that it makes the birth a bit easier/quicker if you dont know the gender.
I think especially as its our first I would just like the surprise element and to hold off a bit longer!

In the meantime its fun guessing and we will probably try a few old wives ways of predicting the gender! Since I found out my instinct has been telling me its a boy, so we'll see!

Only 6 weeks tomorrow until my 20 week scan, can not WAIT! When is your 20 week scan?x

Ah it will be lovely to have a surprise. I'm far too impatient and I'm also a bit OCD about having everything prepared and colour coordinated, like the nursery etc.

It's great to have a bit of fun with the gender theories. Have you googled the skull theory? Apparently it can be up to 92% accurate.

My 20 week scan isn't until 16th October. Can't wait!!!

I wasn't sure if that white line you can see was the nub or not but I'm not very experienced with it at all!

Looking at the skull shape I was thinking a boy but again I don't have much experience of the skull theory either, all very new to me.

We' would be happy either way but are secretly hoping for a girl. Will be interested to see if you ladies were right! xx

Thanks guys. I am surprised by the amount of girl guesses! I've been adamant that I'm having a boy, the scan picture is near identical to my sons picture. Can't wait to find out now and see if you've guessed correctly
