Gagging?

I consider myself lucky as I'm 8 weeks and haven't had any real morning sickness. However, I notice that occasionally I'll start to feel kind of icky (not too nauseated, just... off) and I have the urge to gag and then when I do, I feel like I'm going to be sick but I never truly get sick. And after half an hour it goes away. Again, no real nausea the entire time, just randomly gagging.

Is this morning sickness or...? I thought morning sickness was nausea and/or vomiting.

i had this! certain smells or if i bent down i would gag! i was never sick, it is still classed as morning sickness tho

i found eating little and often was the key! nibbled my way through the first tri!

Good to know thank you. For me anytime I stand for more then like 10 minutes or so I start to feel nauseous, gassy, and a few times I gagged quite a bit.. Not, sure if that's normal though.

its just the changes i wouldnt worry about it i was bloated from day one - still struggle with trapped wind etc now! it only gets worse hehe

I had this the other day, was really weird aha! Was just standing in the living room and all of a sudden i was gagging, i wasnt sick, until i went into the bathroom and saw my cats litter tray lmfao. Anyway its pretty normal. xx

my pugs dog food makes me gag now! and i have a harden stomach i could do anything but even picking up her poop i need to think that im picking up burnt sausages or summat xx

Yeah, going near my kitties box makes me just straight throw up... Have had to have a friend of mine help with their box since I can't do it without getting sick.

Ah thank goodness! I feel like such a dweeb because I'll be talking and all of the su-*gag*!! Ugh, so annoying. If I even think about gagging too much, I will gag.

I'm trying to find some sort of remedy that'll take away the gagging and nausea and bloating.... That would be nice if I could find something that helped it. So far everything I have tried hasn't helped

Yup I had gagging too. From about 6 weeks right up to the middle of tri 2. Couldn't even brush my teeth without gagging. Or take a tablet. Nothing cured it really it just went on its own eventually. I didn't have it with my first but I had some seriously sensitive gag reflex with this one.

Hooe it gets better for you ladies soon.

I can't wait for tri 2. I have heard from others that it's smooth sailing until tri 3.
