Hi Sarah,

Just wanted to find out if you had received your TENS machine? Mine came in the post this morning. I'm really impressed with everything so far, the service and product and info to go with it.

Connected everything up and tested it out and its really easy to use, instructions really straight forward and it even comes with spare batteries, and a pre-paid envelope to send it back after use, I didn't expect either of those TBH.

I must say its a funny sensation and I really hope it works for me. Then again if it doesn't then I know it was only £7 that I wasted.

Hope you got yours too & if not I would imagine it would arrive this week as our dates aren't that far apart.

Its a Mama Tens machine from http://www.mama-tens.co.uk. I bought a voucher from my local pharmacy, they were on special offer at £6.95, reduced from £27.95. The voucher was for the full hire of the machine as advertised on the website. I think this has been my best "baby/pregnancy" bargain

yes i had a go last night
what a balls up that was
took ages to get the things on my back in the correct position and then when i switched it on the screen showed it was working.
And on the first setting i waited and waited then tried the booster and not a thing not a twinge not a flutter NADA
I 'll have another go when James is back see if ive done something wrong
mabye i've got a high pain thresh hold and i'll sail though labour

I must admit I only tried the bottom set of pads and tried it on the first setting (A1).

I think if you are trying the first setting if you use the up/down button to increase the intensity you should start to feel something, I had to crank it up to the 3rd intensity before I could feel anything, hubby could feel it on 2. I tried the boost button also which worked.

Mine seemed to work fine it might just be a case of having a few goes before hand then you know whats what and also to make sure its working properly.
