Thank you

It's too blurry when I zoom in to read. What is the result? Xx

My FSH was 5.3 which is meant to be good. Its to do with egg reserve and quality. Under 6 is meant to be great, above 6 not so much. The lower the level the better i believe i was told, so your levels seem normal.

Oh really!! I am surprised! I am having my 21 day bloods done to see if I am ovulating!! Does that mean I have a good supply and good quality? Lol I am 32 just hoping I have a few years left lol x

That's a good result. It needs to be done alongside LH and estrogen too though to make sure the estrogen is not suppressing it. It is more likely just fine though and that means a good supply of eggs. It doesn't give any indication of quality. There isn't a test that can determine egg quality unfortunately but with a good supply of eggs I am sure you have some fab ones waiting to make a baby :)

Just to make you feel better. My FSH was 17 when first tested at 30 years old. I managed to get it down to 11 but that's still high. Above 10 is not good. I did have IVF but even with my super low egg reserve we got some good eggs. I am sure you're just fine :) xx

Thank you. I had injectables with timed intercourse for my first little boy. I am excited to see if I am ovulating naturally! If not hopefully with a good lot of eggs I can do something to make me ovulate. I am very luck to have 2 perfect healthy boys, my new partner doesn't have any children so I am hoping I am all ok. We had a miscarriage 1 year ago and ever since my cycles have become longer and I haven't caught again, which is why I am a little bit worried. Xxx

Have you tried agnus castus to try and regulate things?
I hope it happens for you very soon xx

I have heard of that but not used it! Does it help you ovulate??? Thank you me to, would love a Christmas baby or bump now !! Lol . Congratulations on your baby bump! I have 2 boys so woukd love a pink however just a healthy baby would be perfect xxxxx

It is supposed to regulate cycles so may help with ovulation too. Maybe best to see what other bloods show before taking anything as you wouldn't want to mess up results xx

I don't know much about FSH but I've always been told that it's a worry if your cycles become shorter not longer. Good luck x

Thank you both! My test is on the 28th so hopefully fingers crossed I am working x

FSH is the quantity of eggs, AMH test is the quality of them. They don't always offer AMH on the NHS for tests, you have to ask for them

There isnt any test that indicates quality. Fsh is an indication that there is a low reserve if the reading is high, amh shows the reserve. I have very low reserve but because I am young they said quality is likely still very good. He made a point of saying no test for quality xx

Agree there is no test for quality. AMH is an indicator of egg reserve, FSH is another indicator - it's how hard your body is working to produce a mature egg and ovulate, as you get older it gets higher - it's been described to me as how much you have to put your foot down on the accelerator, as you get older the level rises and you effectively have your foot to the floor trying to get it going xx
