frustrating

Hi there I'm new to this forum and i will cut straight to it.. been ttc for 4ish months (not long i know) but iv used those apps to work out everything which i have been pretty spot on with, however this week was meant to be the best week to conceive (according to app) but for the last few days i have had brown spotting when i go to the loo. It hasn't gone neither has it progressed in to a period so it has completely confused me.

I read it could be an implantation bleed but i think its to early for that plus its lasted 3/4 days now which seems to long for one! but if it is my period why hasn't it progressed? Haven't even had any cramps which i normally do!

I did think that because i was on the pill for 10 years before coming off to ttc it may be finally out of my system and this is my 1st "natural" period? if that makes sense.

any of you lovely peeps have any clue whats going on? such a frustrating time

I don't know what could be happening as it is hard to tell especially with you only being off the pill 4 months, your body tends to do weird stuff why your hormones balance themselves out.
I'd leave it about 10-14 days and do a HPT to rule out pregnancy. Which app are you using xx

thanks for the reply, I'm using period plus app, Since the start of ttc i noticed i was pretty much bang on date with coming on ect which i was happy about and i suppose this has just thrown me off a bit lol
Four months isn't long but i just get a bit anxious with not knowing

I understand how frustrated you must be. It isn't easy TTC, have you tried the app ovia fertility or my cycles? I tend to find they are really good

iv just down loaded the ovia one as it seems a bit more helpful

time to now play the waiting game now lol

When I first came off the pill to TTC my DD I had been on it 10 years maybe a bit more - the first few months my periods were spot on as I expected them to be then 4-6 months off the pill I had a really long cycle 40 days + before AF arrived. Looking back now that was my first "true" period after coming off the pill and my hormones were back on track.

Hope that helps a bit...I also found the period seemed odd sort of drawn out but after that one I settled down into a cycle I got used to again!
