We started weaning at 4 months and so far Dexter has only had porridge, fruit and veg. Next week however we're going to introduce meat, fish, dairy etc.

I've always used fresh veg for him but have bought some frozen as I know, nutrient wise, it's at least as good, if not better....and will also save some time peeling and chopping! However, if I make up meals using frozen veg can I then re-freeze the meals? Or, is it like some foods which can't be refrozen once defrosted..?

If you cook it you make it in to something else so it is OK to freeze it again. This is easiest to see with meat - you can freeze raw mince, take it out and make it into bolognese and then freeze the bolognese because now you have cooked meat rather than raw meat.

This is how I remember it so sorry for the strange wording!
