I'm pretty sure I've seen this before but I can't find it - my milk is in freezer bags in the freezer (duh) but they keep getting jumbled up and sliding all over each other which is frustrating as I obviously need to keep an eye on dates. I'm trying to get to a year on expressing breast milk but need to work up a pretty big stock as I go back to work after 8 months so this is really important!! So does anyone have suggestions on how to keep them all together (even if it's just January, February, March etc) xx

Thanks in advance ladies xxx

I've got this problem at the minute now and I need to go in and tackle the freezer (maybe tonight) as I need to start rotating it out.

I have 2 freezers so I'm going to use one just for milk and organise it in date order ... Maybe put them in carrier bags and label the carrier bag?

Not sure haven't figured it out myself yet:lol:

Please excuse any typos from my fat fingers!
Tapatalk madness!

I put the milk bags into bigger ziplock bags with a sticky label on the outside. Still shuffle about a bit, but not as much. Xxx

On my iPhone - so cant see tickers :(

I'm going to get another freezer too Tweety (no idea where I'll put it though) they're £130 for a chest freezer from Asda which is pretty much the same as the cost of formula :D second one will just be for milk as I'm slowly taking over the food freezer :D

Looks like Ziplock bags or carriers will be a good idea then, where do I get big Ziplock bags though? xx

I'm scared to shuffle my stock around too much in case it starts melting I'm SOO paranoid xx

I managed to get some from Waitrose but saw them in Tesco the other day xx

We don't have a Waitrose so will poke about in Tesco, thanks!! Xx

Can you not fit little baskets in the draws? Then u can keep the months together and they won't move around as much? Or peg the top of the bags together? Or elastic band round a handful? xx

I've already got 140oz in bags of 5 so I think I'm going to use big ziplock bags, you can get gallon ones off amazon xx
