i bought a new scarf the other day but the problem is, if i wear black with it or other dark colours, then stray threads come off onto my clothes and make it look like ive had 20 white cats sat on me!

theres no washing instructions on it, but if i washed it, would it take some of the stray threads off?

its like a wool material but makes dark clothes look hairy and white lol

ive posted a couple of pics because i dont really know what meterial it is  i wouldnt usually bother with just a scarf but it cost me £12 so want it to last a bit lol

will it not lose shape if its washed??

well i can only go off what mine has done.. and i can say no.. lol..is it really really long?? if it is it sounds like same as mine

yeah really long... folded in half to wear it but it still almost drags on the floor lol

just make sure after you have washed it that you pull it back into shape. It should be easy to do with it being woolly type stuff.

Its a very pretty scarf!

wash it on a handwash cycle then dry it flat (put it out on a table to dry)

then put it in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer, dont know how this works but it does, done it with a few shedding jumpers of mine :)
