framed baby carrier?

For Maheen's 1st birthday, we are going to Marrakesh and we are planning not to take our stroller but but a framed baby carrier. I have looked around, but there are different ones, freestanding, not freestanding, etc... Anyone out there who's got one, and can comment on? any advice?
