Right so on the tub of milk it says for a 7.5lb baby at 2-4 weeks Bertie should have 6 feeds of 4 oz per bottle......try up to 9 feeds of 4 oz at 6lb 7oz! I demand feed and when he's hungry I'll give him a bottle but I do try and settle him with a dummy and a cuddle first just in case he's comfort feeding. It's on the dot every 3 hours all day and night so he's resting lots or having play time in between.
He's not puking so I am assuming he's not over feeding, just getting incredibly long! He's reaching the ends of the next size babygrows that he only grew into over the weekend, and they are all new so I haven't shrunk them in the wash lol. I've also never known a baby to pee so much
honestly it's like putting a nappy on a camel lol, we went through 12 nappies yesterday.
Before I mention this to the HV later (assuming she turns up
) does this sound like too much or should I just not worry if he's feeding ok? xxxxxxxx
