The charging dock has 1 rechargeable back bit thing which has rechargeable batteries built in, also has a little stand bit and a bit to charge 2 more batteries! The other pack is the back bits like if you just flip the battery covers off, you can't use them with the rechargeable back bit, but could if you used just rechargeable batteries!

I hope that made sense! Im so useless!
