I'm only at 6 weeks, but was advised to post this question here, since you guys are farther along!

How did the symptoms go away? Graudally, or all at once? Did you just sit around one day and realize that you hadn't felt ill all day? About what week did it happen?

I know it's different for everyone, but I would love to hear some personal stories!

I still feel queasy occassionally but its if i havent eaten etc now.

I just woke up one day at about 13 weeks and realised i hadnt puked for two days.

One day, at roughly 14 weeks I just didnt feel ill. I felt full of energy and could eat things without seeing them 10 mins later. It was quite a noticable change. Once you feel better you dont actually remember how bad the sickness was.

Hope yours passes soon.

Laura.

same as above really..i still feel sick sometimes if i havnt eaten..but im alot better than i was..i was really bad always felt nauseus and puked everytime i tried to brush my teeth even!! couldnt eat unless i sat for hours and thought of something i craved...now i can eat most things again..just gone off some things though...like babybel..which i used to love!!!!

This was the same for me! I now drink decaf espresso first thing in the morning and can hardly remember how rough I used to feel! :D

Hi, my sickness started to get better around 16 weeks, it did gradually though then just completely stopped. It was horrible and felt so good when it went. Even cleaning my teeth, coughing or trying to take my folic acid made me throw up!!

Hope it gets better for you soon

Thank you, everyone!! You give me hope. I'm learning how to deal with this sickness and what my body likes and hates. It sure is picky! And one step off the wagon and I'm back to square one.

One day at a time, right??

You'll soon feel better before you know it.

For now go with whatever your body is telling you to do. Get plenty of sleep/rest and eat whatever it takes to ease the nausea/sickness.

I only had nausea, I wasn't actually sick but it did seem like 24 hour nausea. My rescue remedy was ginger biscuits, I had to keep some by my bedside and eat them during the night and first thing.

Then at 12.5 weeks I suddenly realised that I felt "normal" again. No nausea, no more early nights. It was like somebody had flicked a switch and everything improved.
