Foot spa

Anyone know why we cant use foot spas in pregnancy?

Have read somewhere that there are certain parts of the foot if stimulated can stimulate the uterus but don't think that is till later on in the pregnancy, maybe something to do with essential oils if you use them in it?

i heard they raise blood pressure and cholesterol???? temporary yes but can still b dangerous for bubs? xx

check with the midwife as when i was a nail tech is we did manicure or pedicure we was trained to not to do some of the massage that comes with it on pregnant ladies

hubby said he went to buy me one but when he was reading the info it said not for use in pregnancy or if you are diabetic!thought it seemed a bit odd lol
i will ask the midwife when I see her as I am intrigued lol
think I might go to the local spa and have a special maternity masage after crimbo

Ive been using my foot spa and ive been just fine. When i did my refexology diploma, the area related to your ovaries and uterus are located on the sides of your feet just below your ankle.
